HOUSE OF SCHOCK - LP
In 1985, the Go-Go's broke up very messily. All members went their separate ways and started making their own music with varying degrees of success.
In 1988, Gina Schock, ex-drummer for the Go-Go's came out with her new band, HOUSE OF SCHOCK. Vance DeGeneres (yes, Ellen's brother) was co-leader and bassist.
They put out an excellent record with "Middle Of Nowhere" as the first single and video. From how I hear it, the record label dropped the ball, basically refused to promote it and eventually dropped the band. Big mistake.
This record has been out of print since the late 80's and it's a shame because I think it's a solid slice of late 80's new wave pop. Here it is for your listening pleasure!
